Susan McGarity Burns

On Tuesday August 10, 2021, Susan Kay McGarity Burns, loving sister, mother and Nana, went home to rest in the arms of Jesus at the age of 65.

Susan was born to John and Virginia Sue McGarity on May 11, 1956 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She had a passion for crafting, sewing and a servant's heart. She was a nurse for over 30 years. Susan was of the Lutheran faith.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her sons, Matthew Burns and his wife, Mayra, Dustin Burns and Lesa Ballentine; daughter, Sarah Harman and her husband, Sean; sister, Theresa Melton and her husband, Randy; brother, Jeffrey Ben McGarity; grandkids, Lane Burns, Michelle Burns, Cambria Harman, and Coulson Harman.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Phillips McGarity and sister, JoAnn Sheaffer.
