Tony Mexia

A funeral service for Tony Mexia, age 70, of Arlington, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4,2014, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Emblem Cemetery, with Mario Viliapando, Matthew Rodriquez, Jacob Valdez, Keith Shelton, Larry Mexia and Mark Mexia serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Tony Mexia passed away Saturday morning, March 1, 2014 at Mansfield Methodist Hospital in Mansfield. He was born in Greenville, Texas August 17, 1943, the son of Frank Mexia and Jessie Becerra Mexia. He married Yvonne Thompson. She preceded him in death in 2001. He married Kathy Deleon; she survives. He was a QAQC inspector for Halliburton and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Deanna Robinson-Mexia of Mesquite and Ashley Mexia of Seagoville; son, Kirk Mexia of Garland; grandchildren, Kendra Galindo, Anthony Joe Galindo, Kassie Mexia, Alexis Tello, Elijah Tello, Noah Valdez, Dylan Mexia, Tyler Mexia, Sasha, Brissa and Jon. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
