Funeral servies for Troy D. Hatcher of Pickton will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Al Davis and the Rev. Wayne Blackshear officiating. Interment will follow in the North Hopkins Cemetery . Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Hatcher was a milk hauler, mechanic, carpenter, store owner, and dairyman. He was a member of the Grace Family Church. He passed away Sat. July 2, 2011 in the Carriage House Manor Nursing Home. He was born on May 26, 1928 in Hopkins County to Harvey Ennis and Abbie Irene Goldsmith Hatcher. He married Myrna Loy Glover on Oct. 30, 1948 in Hopkins County. She survives. Other surviivors include 1 son-Roy Lee Hatcher and his wife Patsy of Pine Forest, 1 daughter Shirley Hatcher Tucker of Pickton. 1 Brother-Jerry Don Hatcher of Sulphur Springs, Grandchildren-Jodie Pearson and husband Charles, Casey Tucker and husband Bill. 3 great grandchildren-Nathan, Troy, and Lilli. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Laveral Strickland, Neva Toland, and Glenna Davis, 2 Brothers- R. Lee Hatcher and Baby Ennis Ray Hatcher, and 1 great granddaughter-Charity.
