Vera Wilhite

A graveside service for Vera Alene Wilhite, age 70, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at City Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014, with Shane Carrington officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh McPhearson, David McPhearson, Danny McPhearson, David Ragan, Cheyenne Smithers and Jon Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Adams and her nephews. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Vera Alene Wilhite passed away Sunday afternoon, March 2, 2014, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hopkins County July 9, 1943, the daughter of Ayrie Cecil Wilhite and Grace Dora Shelton Wilhite.
Survivors include: five sisters, Louise Smith and husband, Huey, Lou Bills, Dama Kirkpatrick and husband Bert, Betty Patterson and husband L. D. (Pat) and Wanda Elliott, all of Sulphur Springs and two brothers, Claude Wilhite of Sulphur Springs and Dennis Wilhite and wife Norma of Garland. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Terry Don Wilhite, brothers-in-law, Lonnie Bills, David R. Free and Danny Elliott and sister-in-law, Mary Jo Wilhite.
