Funeral services for Vickie Daniels, age 52, of Cumby, will be conducted at Lone Oak Baptist Church in Lone Oak, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2010 with Rev. Robert Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Hooker Cemetery, with Ronnie Casanova, Joey Gilbert, Randy Smallwood, Danny Wood and Gary Seldon serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Vickie Daniels passed away Saturday evening, August 21, 2010 in Lone Oak. She was born in Dallas, on December 3, 1957, the daughter of Billy Ray Johnston and Carolyn (Stevens) Johnson. She married Herbert Allen Daniels in Sulphur Springs, on February 29, 2008; he survives. Mrs. Daniels was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: three stepsons, Herb Daniels, Jr. of Tacoma, Washington, Joey Daniels of Bonney Lake, Washington and Chris Daniels of Hawaii; mother, Carolyn Casanova and stepfather, Ronnie Casanova, both of Lone Oak and brother, Danny Wood of Kilgore. She was preceded in death by her father.
