Virgie Pilgrim Elliott

Graveside service for Virgie Lenore Pilgrim Elliott, age 77, and Tommy Brent Pilgrim of Mt. Pleasant, TX will be held at a later date when restrictions are lifted. Virgie passed away on Sunday April 26, 2020, in Sulphur Springs, TX.

Virgie Lenore Pilgrim Elliott was born on December 14, 1942 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Tom and Mildred Elliott. She married Sherman Pilgrim on December 02, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant, TX and were married 39 years. She worked as a store manager at Piggly Wiggly and Vinyards in Mt. Pleasant, TX. She was a loving mother and wife to her children and husband.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Amanda Tillery and husband, Michael; great great children, Guage, Tyler, Christian, Parker, Brennan, and Breanna.

Virgie Lenore Pilgrim Elliott was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Thomas Patman (Pat), Billy Gene Elliott, Gilbert Elliott (Gib), Tommy Brent Pilgrim and Bryan Pilgrim; and one sister, Shirley May Verner Elliott.
