Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for Walter Allen Story, age 54, of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mr. Story passed away at his home in Sulphur Springs on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
Walter Allen Story was born on July 20, 1970 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Edsel Willson and Barbara Rae (Jones) Story. Walter graduated from Como-Pickton High School and then studied to become an EMT and Paramedic at Texas A&M-Commerce. He became a Communications Supervisor for the Hopkins County Sheriff, was a former Technical Support at T-Mobile, and a former Specialist at Hyundai Capital America.
Walter is survived by his sister, Jan Story of Dallas, Texas; aunt, Linda Beck of Florida; caretaker, Jess Gomez; God-mother, Julie Miller; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
