Wayne Patterson

Funeral services for Wayne F. Patterson, 85, of Desoto, formerly of Sulphur Springs will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Chapel.
Military graveside under the direction of Hopkins County Military Coalition will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00, Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Wayne Franklin Patterson passed Thursday, September 1, 2011 at his residence in Desoto. He was born in Sulphur Springs on December 7, 1925, the son of Willie Franklin and Winnie Henry Patterson. He served in the United States Army Air Core during WWII.
Survivors include: daughter, Gail Patterson of Desoto; son, Don Patterson of Farmersbranch.
He was preceded in death by parents and sister, Helen Blackman.
