William Burnett was born on August 16, 1947, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to the late Elmer and Artie (Wyatt) Burnett. William spent his life in Yantis, Texas, where he attended school and built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and the outdoors. He dedicated many years to working as a dairyman before continuing his career as a milk truck driver, a profession he took great pride in, and he loved spending time on the road, often accompanied by his faithful companion, Buck. William found great joy in God's creation. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. One of his favorite daily routines was taking walks through the woods with Buck by his side. Above all, William loved the Lord, and his faith was a guiding presence throughout his life.
William is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Page and husband Jason of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Sandra Fylling and husband Craig of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Carter Page, Taylor Page, Mason Adair, Cameron Adair; sister, Bonnie McAfee and husband Larry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
