Fern McKnight

Mary Fern Carrell McKnight, of Sulphur Springs, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at her home. She was 86.  A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Fern was born on May 20, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, TX to John Wesley and Jessie Lou Elliott Carrell. She married Charles McKnight on December 29, 1970 in Oklahoma. Fern was a house wife and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. McKnight is survived by her daughters, Sandy Blevins, Benji Phillips and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Brandon Blevins, Reg Blevins, Nicki Dutton, Brad Phillips; great grandchildren, Gage Blevins, Cason Blevins, Conner Blevins, Brailie Blevins, Sammy Blevins, Madison Hernandez, Mya Hernandez, Jax Dutton, Cody Phillips, Clayton Phillips, Caleb Guy, Alyssa Colt and Hannah Colt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Jessie Lou Elliott Carrell; husband, Charles Glen McKnight; son, Reginald Wesley Blevins; granddaughter, Laurel Erin Phillips; sisters, Barbara Ann Dyer and Charlotte Zoe Carrell.
