Janet Lee Gottfried

Celebration of life for Janet Lee Gottfried, age 63, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 507 W. Bamboo Street, Cumby, TX.  Janet passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital, Sulphur Springs.

Janet Lee was born on August 18, 1957 in Belknap, Ill to Perry “Buster” and Virginia Faye (Helms) Vance.  She married Brian Gottfried on September 21, 1984 in Batesville, AR.  Janet worked as a Certified Nurses Aide with Home Health Care Service.

She is survived by her husband, Brian; daughter, Angel Vance; son, Russell Vance; grandchildren, Gavin Heath Vance Higginbotham, Kelsey Jo Stewart, Allie Vance and eight other grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Vance, Donald Vance, Gary Vance, Gregg Vance, Terry Vance, Toby Vance and Kirby Vance.

Janet Lee was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Toby Vance and Kirby Vance.
