Patricia Virgel

Funeral service for Patricia Virgel, age74, of Peerless will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro. David Burns officiating and Bro. Doyle Hayes and Bro. Phillip Mathis assisting. Interment will follow at Peerless Cemetery  with Ben Stoneberg, Jamison Virgel, Brian Virgel, Danny Stewart, Andy Kendall, and Wesley Houchins serving as pallbearers and serving as honorary pallbearers are Tony Virgel, Tim Virgel, and Terry Speed.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel.  Mrs. Virgel passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Medical City-Plano.

Patricia was born on Februaray 13, 1945 in Cooper, to Joe Bill and Florida Maynard. She married Elbert W. “Pete” Virgel in Cooper on March 14, 1961 and she was a member of Peerless Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Pete Virgel; children, Terry Virgel and wife, Vicki, Randy Virgel, and Donnie Virgel and wife, Robyn; grandchildren, Jodi, Brian, Lacey, Mason, Peyton and Alyson; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Stewart, Billie Robinson and Connie Parker.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; grandchild, Matthew Virgel; sisters, Dorothy Skinner and  Frances Rowe; brothers, Ronny Maynard and Joe D. Maynard; and several nieces and nephews.
